Campers particpate in fun learning activities at the Management and Education Center, at the beach, along Sanctuary Trails, and on field trips (when scheduled).

Clinics are periodically conducted for youth at Golf Courses managed by the Parks and Recreation Department. Specialty or sports camps for youth are offered by Recreation Partners, such at summer watersports at Kelly Park East in Merritt Island and at Oars and Paddles Park in Indian Harbour Beach.

Bring your Valentine on this special 1 mile guided hike to see what's in bloom from dune to lagoon! Sunday, February 14 at 2 p.m. Meet at: Juan Ponce de Leon Landing beach park, 4500 Highway A1A, Melbourne Beach. Please wear closed toe shoes, sunscreen and bring your water bottle and a snack. Binoculars and cameras are optional. Enrollment is limited to 20 people. Make your reservation by calling: 321.723.3556. There is no cost to participate. |
